At the same time as the Salone del Mobile 2009, Maurizo Modica and Pierfrancesco Gigliotti inaugurated the new Maison Frankie Morello, a headquarters covering 850 square metres in 22, Via Pietro Colletta, opened to house the style office and press office under a single roof.

The location has been designed personally by the two designers, who wanted to create harmonious and welcoming spaces with furnishing combining some antiques and designer objects, place and integrated into the brand’s spirit.

The space includes a welcoming garden, a pergola amidst the leafage in which to eat in the open air in the summer, a little Relaxation Zone furnished in ethnic style in which to regain energy during a break from work, the whole mixed with bright colours and linear forms.

Maurizio and Piero declare: “We wanted colour and harmony to emerge from our structure, in order to create a welcoming place, a home/office space in which one can feel at home while working, giving free reign to our inspiration and to that of all our staff”.

Great attention to detail is evident in the space, in particular as regards the showroom for garments, planned with the intention of making it versatile and transformable into an art gallery, so as to offer a launchpad for young emerging talent;  the timing of the inauguration – at the same time as the Salone del mobile (Furniture show) in Milan – was not coincidental.
